The One?

What is the one? Who is the one?

The movies tell us we must find the one, our parents, our friends, society. The one to help heal you, the one to solve life’s problems. To have children, to grow. What if I am the one? The one to heal my life. The one to take all parts of me by the hand and guide them to Love.

A partner - safe enough to do the work with. Safe enough to stand by me in times of fear and doubt. Someone to walk alongside me, not in front of or behind. To look me in the eyes with courage and patience. Life is a journey, not a race - love is a mirror, the courage to show up with my real face.
